Why are you here?
When I ask this question, I asked why you are in you are, or why you are in town you're in, or even why you are in whatever country you are in
ask the question because I wonder why they even exist?
In the fall of 2003 I had written a book entitled Why are you here Café. It is a fiction story about a man who wanders in the night cafe and surprised to find three questions on the menu. Why are you here? Do you fear death? Are you fulfilled?
I am not so arrogant to think that now I have to answer to someone besides me to live my life. I know though, that there are certain things that I learned to help me think about life differently. There are things I wish I learned earlier in life, things that I reflect on often, and always give me encouragement and help me on my journey to achieve a life of their dreams.
I hope that in sharing those things with you, they will somehow help you on your journey to live the life of your dreams.
1 Know your purpose existing (PFE), or at least be looking
Your current order is exactly what it says. That is why we exist, why they are alive. This is the answer to the question I asked you at the beginning of this article. Why are you here?
Your PFE is like your own personal compass for life. If you go to New York and became a commodities trader? Return to the PFE. Why are you here? If you travel the world as a peace corp. volunteer? Return to the PFE. Why are you here? If you stay in touch you were testing? Return to the PFE. Why are you here?
In addition to taking a lot of stress out of decision-making, it also takes a lot of anxiety in daily life. You do not have to justify myself or anyone else why you do what you do. You know the answer. You meet someone and say "Hi, what do you do?" You respond, "Oh, I teach yoga," or "I'm an insurance salesman" or "I am a chiropractor." "Interesting," say, "what is going into this line of work." Well, it helps to fulfill its purpose for existing, "you reply. Wow! This is a powerful statement. You do what you do, because it helps to meet the exact reason you exist. It does not get much simpler or more powerful than it.
2 Fear is a terrible thing, do not let it control my life
.Someone once told me a great quote about trying something new. He said he was struggling with fear for a long time until one day his friend told him: "Listen, it really is the worst that can happen." I think that's great feedback for the memory. We are often paralyzed into non-action is concern that something drastic might happen. But the reality is that almost every decision we make and actions we can change if we do not like the outcome.
We almost always go back to whatever it was we did before we tried something new. Furthermore, what are the odds that the "worst thing" will happen? Probably not likely at all, and even a remote chance that keeps us from doing things that we want to do.
My main "Aha" moment that allowed me to get past their fears, came one day when I suddenly realized that there are very few things that have not already done at least one and probably thousands of people. Of course, everything I tried, others have tried and succeeded in. Well, hell, I thought. If they could do it, so can I.
is very likely that what you are trying to accomplish in life, someone, at some point in history, at a place in the world did, and proved that it can be done. If they could do it, so can you.
3 Or we can live like a speck of sense of existence, or we can live a life of meaning
Have you ever been somewhere on a clear night when you could get a great view of the stars? You were in place nice and dark without lights confusing local eyes. How many stars do not think you could see with the naked eye when you looked across the sky? It seemed like millions of stocks. The sky seemed just full of stars. Well, the reality is that the vast amount of stars you see a completely clear night when there is no external lighting is actually about 3,000.
To this number in perspective, note that in our galaxy alone, there are 100 billion stars. Now, our star, which is the sun, there are 9 planets and 54 months to turn it around. Using our star as a proxy, this means that there are 6.3 trillion stars, planets and moon floating around in our galaxy. So, what you see on a perfectly clear night, the huge amount of stars and space, about .00000005% of everything in our galaxy. Surprisingly not. Now consider this. It's just our galaxy. Do you know how many galaxies are there? Scientists estimate that more than 500 million.
So, with all this as a perspective, how important are our individual lives in relation to the universe? It's pretty easy to see how someone could think that the only speck of sense of existence. Of course, we all just particles in the big picture. But suppose it is not insignificant. Suppose that there is a specific purpose that each of us is here, the reason that there are right now that goes beyond just the sperm met egg and nine months later popped out a bit you or me.
I believe that there is a reason. I believe that each of us has a purpose for existing, or PFE as I like to refer to it. My suggestion is to find that purpose. Fulfill this purpose.
I've had people say to me: "But what if you're wrong?" "What if I think I have the PFE, and I live my life like I do, but I'm really just a speck of sense of existence?" My answer to that is always the same. If we find what we think is our very purpose of life, our purpose for existing, and we live a life fulfilled, then by default, we must give meaning to our lives. What makes sense, can no longer make sense.
4 Understand something fulfilling, because we have decided to meet, not because someone else tells us that.
There are a lot of people out there trying to get you to buy things, and they will tell you almost anything to get you to do.
Do you know how much money was spent on advertising in the United States last year? A staggering $ 124 billion dolara.Cilj these expenditures is to you and me to buy things, and advertisers are getting more and more savvy about how to do it.
For example, they learned that memory and emotion are important factors in whether or not the customer has a brand loyalty to a product. Thus, the examination of the brain responses of those who were shown advertisements, to see if the ad evokes emotional reaction center or center of a memory test subject brains. In this way they can tell whether the ad will encourage long-term brand loyalty for a particular product. I can just see it? Someone is walking down the street, they pass a billboard, and suddenly this huge, powerful, yet inexplicable urge to buy lottery tickets.
Are we up to that point yet? No, I do not think so. Will we get to that point? I do not know. The thing is, marketing and marketing technology, and will continue to make it harder and harder to sift through all the noise, so that we can create our own perspective on things.
challenge is to accomplish something that fulfills us, not because someone says it, but because we are individually determined to meet. Do you really love comes in the form of diamond earrings that say "You love her and would marry her all over again"? Do you self worth and empowerment indeed lie in the possession of a car? I personally do not think so in any case, but do not listen to me more than I would listen to an ad. You decide.
5 Be thankful for those affected by the benefits that come from living in this country
We have some incredible opportunities in our hands simply because we live in this country. Now, I do not know about you, but I get all these features is the pop out of the womb in what proved to be very random place.
Do you know how much, on average, Faculty of Myanmar (formerly Burma) do? They make 10,000 per month Floor. That's about $ 12.00 U.S. As the average college in China? How do you think that a month? That number is 1500 Yuen, who is something less than $ 200.00 U.S.
is now paying what size are sufficient for these people to work in their country and economy. In all likelihood, however, these people will never be able to travel and see the world. They simply can not afford. However, we can. We have the financial benefit of a strong currency compared to most of the world.
In this country we can get an education and we can go out and get a decent paying job. We think that unemployment is getting really bad when it hits 6%. In places in South Africa has more than 40 %.
As a country we have a fair share of problems. When the outside and travel to other places, you will see things that make the U.S. look like paradise. We have freedom. We can say what you want, buy what you want to become what we want, travel where we want, but for the most part the only thing that is all that is pop out of the womb in the right geographical area. We must not take for granted.
6 Look at the little picture, but with a great perspective
People often say, look at the big picture. I say look at the little picture, but with a great perspective.
Do you know what is life? Life is actually a day multiplied by approximately 27,500. Sometimes less, hope more, but usually around 27.500.Najlakši way to make sure we enjoy life is to make sure that every day we do something we enjoy. I'm sure this sounds easy to you. It took me a couple of decades this figure.
are doing something you enjoy every day is an example of looking at some pictures. But keep in mind the big perspective, which is what your PFE? What is it you want from life? Why are you here?
Here is an example of a small picture and a great perspective. Are you some kind of work for at least 20 minutes every day of the week? Do you go to work, work from home, something? How about that. Do you wake up every day and stretch at least 20 minutes?
Ok, another question. What is more important to you, health or money? Would you permanently store the ability to walk up stairs, in exchange for money? Would you permanently store the ability to take a bike ride along the beach, garden, raise a grandchild, to play sports or go fishing in exchange for money?

...then be careful about how you spend your time each day, because the decision to head to work 20 minutes earlier, or spending an extra 20 minutes to work, instead of 20 minutes a day to stretch, jespor version of the trading abilities.
...7 Looking for a near life experience
At the age of 28 I started that in the near life experience. Have you heard the term near-death experience? This is when people survive a heart attack, or almost get hit by a car and get this terrible feeling lucidness about how life is short and that should give some thought about how they really want to live before they nemajuživot live.
Well, in 28 I started to get those published without the potential for a trip to the emergency room. I started that in the near life experience.
near life experiences are the times when it does exactly what you want. You are enjoying life, you experience exactly what you want out of life and because you really feel satisfied with life experience. Near life experiences (NLE's) can come from something as simple as hugging your significant other, or as complex as particularly difficult to achieve the goal you set for yourself. They come when you meet your PFE.

...shall as soon as it is a fantastic thing to experience, especially in the vicinity of the life experience that before in my life they have, the more you will have to reap the benefits. What you learn at 20, 35 or 50 can be used for a lot more time and a lot more situations than you have learned at the 85th Even better, build on experience with each other. After the inspection start coming, they create this fantastic foundation of knowledge upon which everything else.
8 Choose your own metric of success in life
When you have spent time in other countries, and then return to the United States, you will realize how strongly our culture equates success with money. How did you do? What car do not drive? How big is your house? These are all money based on the measurements.
If you decide to take as our metric, that's fine, just so long as we are sure that we elected him. And when we are deciding what will be our metric, we should bear in mind that money is not jedini.Količina time we spend every day doing what we want, our level of fulfillment with life, how lucky we are, how much love in our lives, and many others also the measurement of success in life.
to evaluate them carefully, because the metrics we choose to become a driving force for our actions.
9 Acting as your life depends on your decisions, because that
Have you ever been in a discussion in which you were discussing what to do, and someone said, "So what would you do if your life depends on it?" It really puts things into perspective does not it? Now, suddenly, it is more important. MY LIFE depends on !!!
Well, in reality, our life depends on decisions we make each day. Whether or not to achieve and experience what we want out of life depends entirely on our daily decisions.
Have you ever heard the term "Big Five"? Big Five is something we hear all the time when you are on safari in Africa. It stands for the rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard and lion. People are always asking, "Did you see the big five? How big five Have you seen? Where are the big five ?"...
I think we should adopt this concept for our živote.Big Five for Life will be five things you absolutely want to do, see or experience in our životu.Stvari that on our deathbeds, we'll look back on and go Yes, I did my big five for life.
Would not it be great conversation starter? "Hi, I'm John, and you are ?..." "I'm glad. So what is the Big Five for Life and that he can help them fulfill ?"
Although it may be, the items on the Big Five for Life need not be a list of things that are one time events. For example, the number one on my list is to have a lifelong loving relationship with his wife. This is something not-defined end date. While I'm here, it is listed.
I think the reason it would be so fantastic, because we often forget that they act as our livelihood depends on our decisions. We get into a pattern and we were soon all these reasons why we can not go do things that we like.
Do your daily decisions as if your life depends on it, because he does not.
10 Choose to work on things that are passionate about and you'll always be passionate about what you are working on
Here are the statistics you May find shocking. It shocked me. In an average week, including two weekends, people will spend more than 52% of your waking life or at work, getting to work, or work related activities at home.
More than half of our waking life is spent at work. Now that is something to keep in mind when we make a decision about what type of work you want done. "I am choosing to give half of his life, the quest for what this job is ."
If you spend 52% of your waking life at work-related items each week, and perhaps choose to work on something you're passionate about. I know it can be challenging. We live in this interesting world in which people value experience more than a lot more important skills such as ability, general intelligence, drive, and much more.
However, I think it this way. If there is anything else you've always wanted to do, but lack of experience, every day is not going to make the day less experience you have. You may get started right away.
