...American replied: "I remember the accident, and then there was a bright white light, and then the Canadian and the Scot and I were standing at the pearly gates St. Peter approached us and said we were all too young to die, and to a donation of $ 150 can return to Earth. Of course I pulled out my wallet and gave him $ 150, and the next thing I knew I'd come back here ".
...One of the doctors said: "It's unbelievable, but what happened to the other two ?"
American replied: "I last saw them, the Scot was haggling on price, and the Canadian was waiting for the government to pay his ."
image of the scene in today's Gospel reading for trenutak.Udovica has just lost her only son. Since her husband was already dead, she is faced with formidable personal and financial problems. In those days, widows were supported by the eldest son. To make matters worse, her son is buried within 24 hours of his death, as was customary at that time due to the problems of degradation in combination with heat. She had no time to even begin to understand the meaning of her loss.
As the funeral procession left the village, Jesus and his followers come from the village of Nain. They immediately stop the funeral procession, something many of us are still working, although there are some who do not. When Jesus saw what was happening, he was moved to compassion. He comforted the widow, and then bring her son back to life.
This is not the first time someone has risen from the dead. He called the Word of Life in the 1st John 1:01 The Lord is both dead and living according to Romans 14:9. It also parallels the Old Testament reading from 1 Kings 17:8-24 we heard this morning in which Elijah raised the widow's son from mrtvih.Razlika the manner in which the two dead children were raised to life. Elijah laid the body on top of the body to the widow's son, while Jesus was just a touch of the body.
Someone pointed out that in any case, when Jesus was resurrected from the dead person is called every dead person individually. He did this because if he did not specify which person is to grow, every tomb in Israel and throughout the world can have open at his command. Jesus is so much power. Instead, the tombs of other people and those who have died since then will be open at the time of the Second Coming.
This is a story of miracles. Christ still works miracles in our lives today. Sometimes miracles are a direct result of molitve.Dobar example of this includes our former priest-in-Charge. Some of you May have heard that about a month and a half ago, his cancer returned, however, the e-mail sent a few weeks ago, he said that the tests earlier that day, there was no sign of cancer at all! On a visit to his oncologist and other specialists for other tests to make sure that cancer is really gone, but he and his doctor, who is also a Christian, say that a miracle is a direct result of prayer, laying on of hands and anointing received as a member of the Order of St. Luke. The treatment does not depend on the degree of faith we have or that we are righteous. If we have faith that is as small as a mustard seed, God can and will work miracles in our lives.
of healing and wholeness are first cousins. What is the treatment that is whole, and that all is saved. God heals the body and mind at the same time. God does not just treat on a whim. He seems to see his glory, to hear his word and sing his praises. God uses miracles as signs of his power.

...is a key point in this story is not faith. This is not about any of gratitude. After all, Luke does not say if the widow or her son said, "Thank you" to Jesus. This is a story of grace, pure, unadulterated, undiluted, cried, and unquestionable for mercy. This miracle happens, because Jesus has compassion for the widow, just as he has compassion for us. Jesus offers no political or economic solutions to modern problems. He gives us insight into God's way of dealing with human misery and trouble with endless compassion and kindness.
......nothing is impossible with God. We can not, but God can. God can, if we believe that God can, if you will let him go, and be available to help if needed. Because he sees and understands, he can give us the strength to carry on. Jesus understands because he was there. He knows what to complain about the loss of a loved one. After all, it is sad when Lazarus died, and John the Baptist. He knows how parents feel when a child dies because he saw the agony that his mother Mary went through while he was dying on the cross. Although Jesus was the Son of God, he is also the Son of Man. His compassion moved him to help us when we are hurting. It is human nature to feel pain and compassion, sorrow and joy. It touches us in our time of hopelessness and despair and help us to rise above our grief. God can resurrect our hope and faith.

.........I must be strong to carry on 'cause I know I do not belong here in heaven ."
"Beyond the door, there is peace for sure
I know there will be no more tears in heaven "
Rick Warren once said: "The crisis creates a moment in our lives when we shift our dependence on something which can never take from us. Through it, God teaches us that we will lose our homes, our careers, our marriage or our health, but we will never, never lose our relationship with God. promised to never forsake us or leave us and it is eternal security we can build our lives on. "God knows our sorrow, and no matter how dark or painful our situation might be, Jesus can bring us hope. There will be times when you feel like rejection to acceptance of our hope and despair. In times like this, we must seek God and allow him to light our way through the pain and sorrow into hope and joy.
I'd like to close with a personal story. May 1987 was a busy month for my family. In the space of 10 days, we had my brother's wedding, my university degree, and the death of my father's brother. My uncle is suffering from lung cancer and he and my father was not very close. Unfortunately, it did not change until we heard from mutual friends that he was my uncle died and that my father should go and see him one last time. My parents had gone to spend a few days with him, and just before they left to return home, my uncle told my father: "Why are you leaving?" In other words, he knew his time was short, but actually he died ten days later. Dad went to the funeral, and later he told me that the last thing my uncle said to his wife before he died was, "I'll see you in heaven ".
